Part Quantities Produced:		We can produce quantities ranging from prototype samples to any quantity required.

Lead Times:		Depending upon the complexity of the design, we strive to produce a prototype harness to meet our customer's time requirements. We place a high priority on completing prototypes as quickly as possible to allow our customers time to approve or make necessary changes.

Part Dimensions (min/max):		Wire harnesses ranging from inches to hundreds of feet.

Acceptable Drawing File Formats:		We can accept any engineering formats for software like: AutoCAD, Pro-E, and SolidWorks, etc. Along with any of these other file types if needed: PDF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIF, TIFF, DXF, DWG, GIF, PCX, WPG.

Tolerances Acheived:		+/- 1/16 inch is our working standard We will meet any customer's design specification

Equipment List:		Our cable and wire processing machines include: (1) Connex Wire Strippers (3) Electronix Wire Strippers (3) Schleuniger Wire Strippers (1) Komax Alpha 455 (1) Komax Gamma 333 (1) Komax Kappa 240 Wire & Cable Processing Machine (6) Amp Wire Terminating Machines (6) Molex Wire Terminating Machines (10) Braiding Machines for Wire Harness Bundling The Komax Alpha 455 Crimp-height and pull-out force measurement are integrated in the process sequence. Fully automatic pull-out force measurement is also available as an option. The measured results from the measuring devices are transferred automatically to the user software and compared with the set values. Incorrect entries can be avoided in this way. Production cannot commence until the measured results match the specified values. Each of these machines produces a consistent repeatable assembly. Our Komax Kappa 240 wire & cable processing machine, is a great machine for difficult to process wires and cables, it's used to cut, strip to any specified length. Our Amp and Molex terminating machines also incorporates a hand operation function, that we use when producing a one-up prototype. Quality:		Sheyenne Dakota has an exceptional testing procedure. In addition to checking the harnesses against both the customer’s and Sheyenne Dakota’s engineering drawings, the harnesses are inspected at the assembly boards then tested on Dynalab NX Testing equipment AFTER braiding (if applicable). This ensures no breaks occurred during the braiding process. Each harness is then visually inspected to ensure all identifying tags are in place and the parts are hand counted and weight counted before packaging. Inventory:		We have a large wire inventory, however if we don’t have the requested wire in stock, we can have it the next day and that’s true with many of our parts and terminal connectors. We can usually begin building a harness immediately, with the exception of new harnesses as the plans must go through engineering and that might delay production a few days.

Component Sourcing:		If our customers request an alternative component to be sourced to reduce costs, SDI will source parts to find a less expensive alternative to their original specification. We never change a part without the customer’s direction or approval. Cable and Panel Connectors - SDI works with electronic components being both sealed and unsealed, shielded and un shielded along with waterproof connectors.
